Glass Painting - 3 - laughing buddha

Here I have added the painting on glass done by my sister-in-law "Shyamala Devi Praveen Kumar".

We call the character in this painting as laughing Buddha.

And it is also considered that having him at home gives prosperity

Decorative Candle making

Welcome to Theepz crafts.

Here is the colorful candle I made.
I took a glass tumbler and dropped one seashell into it.

I have melted the button wax and added yellow color and poured it as base.

Then a layer of green and a layer of blue over it.

I dropped a pebble inside and I used a thick thread and dropped it in and held another end up.

Finally I finished off with the orange color layer.

Finally I dropped another carved shell inside it before the candle turns hard.

This is to add a good look for the candle.

Now the hand made glass cum decorative candle is ready.

Fish Bowl Decoration

Hi,


Here is my fish bowl decoration.
I just bought this fish bowl for my friend and he said he cannot maintain the fishes.
So I thought of decorating it.

I have applied huge amount of glue to the bottom andadded pebbels and glass balls inside.

I left it dry for a day.

Over the pebbels I applied huge layer of glue and have painted the big pebbles, shells, mini marbles etc.

I quilled papers and added to the glue for the effect of leaves.

I added few plastic fish and crabs inside.

I Colored cotton and twisted it like starfishes.

I paked the same with gift wrapper and presented on his birth day.

He was like "WOOOOW Prathee" .....

Birthday Card - 1

Hi,


The card was made as a birthday wishing one for my friend.


I took the wooden block from one of my friend's marriage invitation.
I removed the invitation from the wood and I glued a Hand made card in it.
I also made zig-zag  cut at the edges of the paper

I started writing my wishes to him and then at bottom of the sheet I punched a hole.
I plugged in a thread and knotted it.

 Now I rolled the paper over the wood and tied it.
Wow now it look cool to open and read the wishes:)
